Originally posted by Athlon7: Too bad it's terribly ugly I agree, the ZTS is fugly!!! What a disgusting looking body shape - no wonder it is only available in the US. Only Americans would like that abomination as I have seen that Americans are obsessed with sedans. Leave the Focus SVT with the hatches, it's what started the small performance car craze, back when the first VW Rabbit GTi came out. Don't get me wrong, I like sedans - I love my SVT, but the ZTS is just plain WRONG.

I agree the ZTS would have been a better choice. It is much better looking then the ZX3 and marginally better than the ZX5. Plus, it would offer some diversity in the SVT lineup.

Oh So True.sure, more power is always good, but keep in mind the SVT Focus already has 10 more hp than the new Civic Si.
It's all about balance.

The 2002 Civic Si has been trashed in the usually Honda friendly media. I think even Car and Driver picked the Fcous SVT over the Si.
I see ads at a local Honda dealer for marked down Si's. In spending money to bring out SUV's, Honda dropped the ball on their fiercely loyal cultists, which could hurt in long run..
