To me...upgrading to 200lb/ft of torque should show some impressive gains to 60...no?

Just droping the 3.0 in will be a nice gain for a non svt. 30 more horse. tons of more torque. I dont know how hard or anything it will be for your car, sence you have a 95 (OBD I)you will have to see if that is possible. as long as it is, there will be no probs. I cant get you number of torque or hp on a non-svt 3.0 swap. I havent dynoed my car yet, I have had people say I wont hit the 200 mark on both hp and torque (at the wheels.) and I have had people say I will. I think I will be right around 210hp and 200torque, thats due to the fact of all the mods I have.
List: kkm intake lighten flywheel UDP pulleys no Main Cat True Dual Exhaust No res Egr Block 75mm MAF bored upper intake svt throttle body 24lb injectors
I think that will get me the 210 mark easily with some good tunning, once I get the S-AFC.

When you say 200, I assume you mean 200hp at the wheels, which is more like 230 hp, correct? If so, that is a very nice gain. I'm not sure how the 95 electronics will affect me swapping. I think I may have to ask Terry Haines about it.

I will be doing the 3.0 after the brullen and apexi. I will be using the 3.0 block with the 2.5 heads.. Question though..with the high compression..how safe will nitrous be?
Thanks Eric

it wont be, There is no chance of you keeping that engine with the 3.0 block and 2.5 heads. no NOS, turbo or s/c will go on that setup, unless you want to blow the engine. like I said a few replys back. the 2.5 heads on the 3.0 is for people that want alot of gain and staying N/A. if you want to put NOS,Turbo,S/C. do the whole 3.0 swap with the 3.0 heads.

Micah, did you say you have the 2.5 heads with the 3.0? Although I might want nitrous in the future I will go with the 2.5 setup and avoid it.
Thanks for the info, Eric

Hey, Yea I have the 2.5 heads on my engine. was thinking of putting the 3.0 heads on to get a turbo in there. But i think i am going to stay with the 2.5 heads. this setup will let you run a low 14 high 13 sec car in the 1/4 if you want more do the 3.0 heads with NOS or a turbo Micah

I think with a daily driven car low 14 high 13's are fine for me.. Plus with all the tinkering people do I'm sure someone will come out with better performance numbers somehow someway. There are all motor 12, 11 cars out there.. Eric

Yeah, keep your current engine and throw some NOS on it. You'll hit low 14's all day..........

Yea, but thoughs 12 and 11 sec cars are not front wheel drive I think the best we could do N/a with the 3.0 would be mid 13 or low 13 with slicks. you trying to make a drag racer or a daily driver? N/A will be fast enough for a daily driver, I think, But what do I know I still want the turbo Micah
