I'd rather have "indicated" 135 than to have 130 proven by the police!
Nice pics all!

This might be a stupid question, the three picture that I see here are kind of strange, I'm not going to overanalize and I'm not saying that they are photoshoped but it's weird that the rpms that these guys are pulling are completly different at pretty much the same speeds. Seemslike the faster they went the lower the rpms

I neeeeeed more highwaaaaaay! LoL I was able to get up to 120Mph but ran out of highway! :p It still felt like the engine had more to give! Agreed, it takes me alot longer to get up to those speeds as compared to your 6 Cyl beasts! :p Although I can enjoy the view getting there, better than you guys because it would be nothing but a blur for ya! You guys are insane! I once got my old SVT up to 130 when I was 16 and scared the hell out of me. Since then, Ive maxxed my M3's out to 150 more times than I can count. When I got the pics, I had a friend take them...not me! I was too busy watching what I was doing!
Sidenote: Im about to buy my 2nd SVT. How are they at high speeds? I remember it as floaty but its been awhile so if someone could refresh me? Maybe mods like suspension, rims, etc help it

mbb41: I agree, this seems to be more than I would expect from a factory setup! As I am not the original owner, I can only guess! I do love my Contour! I could have easily gone faster but I forgot to bring my camera! LoL :p Is there a rev limiter and a speed limiter in the stock setup or just one? Stephen
