I just contacted the Florida New Edge Cougar club and they are interested in hooking up with us for meetings. They appear to be pretty small at this point and wanted to help them and us out. Yo, you gotta let them know about the NIRA events at Moroso in Sept & the other events going on at that track that we can make a presence at.

That was a great idea to get in touch with them, some of those Cougars are bad@$$. Perhaps, if you wanna make an even bigger impact, you might wanna get in touch with some FL Probe GT enthusiasts at their forums @ www.probetalk.com so we can truly go Duratec crazy. I know a couple guys with some really nice PGT's down here, and the movies of some of the other's are insane.

I guess me going over there while the CEG forums was down wasn't a bad idea after all. Ryan, did you get the idea to go over there after I posted about Old Town? Their site is ok, but if you view their topics in the Florida forum for the past couple of months, you will see there Is (or was) a lot of animosity between the members. I hope they got it all worked out (I think they have), because I would love to hook up with some of these guys. I browse their forums quite often, so I can keep us informed too.....

Hello Florida CEG. Let me bring you up to speed. Most of the animosity you noticed between members in our chapter was due primarily to the inevitable split of Southeast NECO. From the ashes rose Florida NECO. I would like to think things have calmed down alot, and for the most part they have. I'm excited about the prospect of a NECO/CEG meet. Keep it real, and look forward to meeting some of you guys.

Just so you know...

There was a small conversation going on in their posts about a Miami (well, actually Hollywood) meet on or around June 9th at the Dave & Busters up there near Boomers.

I mentioned the post that MystiqueSVT had put there and they were pretty interested in having a double meet, but I left it up to them.

I don't know how hectic your schedule's are, but I hope you guys can make it. Plus we can toast some ricers on the nice big South Florida highways while we're at it.

Just wanted to come over here and say hay!! I think this is a great idea to do the duel meet and I hope to see all of you at the duel meet at Dave & Busters
