...in dropping by my house anytime this Saturday (17th) for a bit of a cookout in the evening or something?

Reason being, I have a couple of friends coming down this way from Georgia and Alabama. One of them--Blake Nelson (Silver E1) is going to Sebring and may try to stay here Saturday night before heading back north. The other--Wes Fenner ('95 SE MTX)--is coming down Friday, and he and I have plans to do some maintenance on his car Saturday.

Ryan, since you have the list of FL-CEG, would you want to shoot an e-mail to everyone to gauge interest, even if you don't plan to come? I understand it's a long way for some, so I'll understand a slim response, but I figure it's the least I can do...

Sounds good...I'll post directions as soon as I get word from Wes that he's still coming. I'm pretty sure now that Blake can't make it, but it would still be good if we could get something organized. If Wes doesn't come, I'll still pretty much have most of the day free -- perhaps even to go over to Sebring and meet up with Blake.

hope you can! we'll have a perch on the scaffolding (i mean...custom designed grandstands) saved for ya. sorry i can't make the cookout....if ya weren't so dang far down there in florida (and away from your real SE-CEG home), it wouldn't be so hard....heehee.

but with the race not ending till 11:00 or so, and then having to make a 10 hour drive back to birmingham the next day, there just isn't enough time in the weekend....
