There's an open invitation from us at Focaljet, for CEG'ers to join in our 3rd "NJ Dyno Day".

Ideally, we'd like to have just under 20 people run, which would drive the overall costs down to $40 or so per person.

Refer to this post on Focaljet for further information as the date gets closer to July 13.

There will be 2 groups: straight runs, and tuning. The former is just to see what power you make, and the latter is to test simple mods, and/or an add'l air/fuel meter for small cost.

Last time we had Foci, SVT Foci, Jess' CSVT, a Lightning, '68 Cougar, SE-R Spec V, LeBaron and Crown Vic do runs.

If anyone is interested, please post here. I'll be coordinating with the event organizer, Focaltech01, with regards to the CEG'ers.

Covert1, whats up man? Hey thanks for posting this. I took your advice and decided to check this site out. I have posted about the gtg in the NJ and PA forums so hopefully there will be a nice response.

Focal and Covert!

I may need your services helping promote a local Charity drag event in your respective organizations. Hit me up with an IM , AureiusX, or and e-mail Aureius@hotmail.com.

American Iron Shoot-Out 2!!!

Our members can vow for how good the event was and it will be much better this year but we drastically need to increase FMC's showing at the event.

Thanks!

-Andy

You can put me down as a maybe, but I won't be running, just hanging out. I haven't changed anything since I ran last time.

[vent on]
frown How come when I was ready to dyno before my tranny was acting up there were no dyno days. Now that my tranny has gone haywire and no sign of tranny work being done in the near future there's been like 3-4 dyno days locally?
[/vent off]

Ok sorry about that, rough day, needed to vent somewhere.

If you local guys can't make the NJ dyno day, here's a suggestion. Creative Colours Motorsports Performance in Frederick recently installed a Dynojet, and they have quite a nice shop setup (including a 9 second Supra that's usually being worked on). Dyno time is like $100/hour, IIRC, and they are equipped for wide-band tuning.

Steve, where is this shop in Frederick? Never heard of it and would like to have a local shop to visit and see about stuff like this. Also there is a shop called Raceredi that I see cars with crap-assed windshield banners on, where is this shop? Every car with raceredi stickers on it I've seen looks like ass but would still like to visit the shop and take a look. Any info?
