I have a 98 contour and i wana know how to get my runing lights and my fog lights to come on with out my head lights cuz i dont know if i have a fuse out or what can anyone help?

As a follow-up, can the stock relay handle 55 watt fog lights? Apparently the stock fogs are 37 watts... Bought a set of "Designed for SUV's" fogs that claim to give the maximum legal output. And hey! they only cost me 30$ at Princess Auto!! laugh

Yeah, I think the 885's are 55w (someone correct me if I'm wrong). I've had mine in for quite some time, no problems...but from what I understand, don't go higher than 55w.

if you put the 55 watt bulbs in...
watch your lenses..
they sometimes melt from the extra heat.

If you run your foglights for exteneded periods of time, especially in warmer weather, I would advise to not install 55W foglight bulbs for fear of melting lenses.

that said, I have the 55W 885 bulbs in my fogs, and since I only run them when necessary, I have not had a problem.
