Hey KJ,
Well, when I asked them about replacing the rear susp crossmember, at first the guy thought that your car was mine and they agreed to it if I dropped-off the parts. When I told them that it wasn't my car that was already there, the guy said that they couldn't do it because it they have to "pick and choose" what kinds of projects to take on being that they're really busy, and the Contour's too difficult of a car to work on.
I doubt it's their official policy to not work on Contours but I bet they're getting pretty booked, and going on book rate, can make more money working on 3000GTs.
I ended-up getting it done yesterday at Firestone, but being charged an arm and a leg for 4 hours of labor, at least I got an alignment out of it.

I have spoke with them each day and it finally looks like I am going to get the car back. I called at around 2pm today and they said they needed to get the coolant in and fire it up. We will see.
Leigh, When I talked with my friend over there he said nothing of them not working on Contours. I don't doubt you though and I wouldn't tell anyone to there anyway. Unless, of course, you wanted to wait a month for an oil change.
