Yeah called them today. They still have the heads off. John (a kinda close friend who works there) said there was a "scheduling conflict." Whatever that is supposed to mean. Looks like it's yet another awesome weekend without my car. mad If you think i'm ticked you should see Nora.

They better give you a fricking 90% discount, a "scheduling conflict" is unacceptable when they've had the car for MONTHS. Tell them in computer terms: FIFO not LIFO! heheh

I must have missed how this started, but what exactly are you getting done to your car, fixing something that broke, or upgrading stuff? Because if you're fixing something that broke, why didn't you just go to a Ford dealership (or is AAM a dealership) and get it covered under your warranty?

OC ... The #3 cylinder threads got stripped. When the spark plug popped out I had taken the car to Jerry's Ford and they said the plug went in without issue. It happened again January 25th. I took the car back to Jerry's Ford and they denied warranty coverage. Easy Care (extended warranty company) said it was a workmanship or material defect and denied coverage. Some people from the boards came by and we tried to fix. Figured out we didn't have the tools so I towed the car to AAM (Altered Atmosphere Motorsports) to have the head replaced. The rest you know. It's really said it's been this long. I am really pissed about it but can't really do anything unless I take the car somewhere else. frown

Jeez.. Thanks for the update. That sucks. I'm guessing Easy Care is a 3rd part extended warranty company? I paid a bit extra for the Ford ESP because I was concerned about something like that happening, where they'd deny me coverage if something went wrong (like the famous engine problems).. Hope it all works out for you.

Easy Care is currently the 3rd party extended warranty company. I have just gotten off the phone with AAM and they said Mike is heading over to the other shop to pick up the head and do work the work. I doubt they will have it done but they said at latest Thursday. We'll see about that. Oh and I also doubt they are going to do the gauges/Koni's so I'll be on my own for those.

Damn, that sucks, KJ...You better get it back in time for AIS to defend your title against Joshie and all his new go-fast mods!
