Hey guys, I had a flange welded on for my K&N filter, is the KKM compatible only with the stock set-up. Basically, I want the KKM intake, I've heard it's louder, is it worth it, and will it work? Thanks

Mike it was the first Mod I did. When we get into the summer you're going to have problems with heat soak. It's louder but since I just read your post in "that other thread" I doubt you will hear it over the mufflers.

Mike, I go to UMBC if you want to see the KKM before deciding. I commute to school, so I'm there as little time as possible. The best time for me would probably be Wednesday night. Keep in mind what KJ said though, because your talking about 100 bucks that may not make any noticeable difference.

I believe it was proved that a big K&N is better than a Power Stack which it the filter that comes with the KKM. If you wanna by a power stack let me know I know where you can find one on the web with out going thru KKM.

Do you get anything with the KKM aside from the actually air filter?

It replaces the stock airbox and bolts right up. Easy install -> 30 minutes tops. One of my first and favorite mods along with the B&M SS.

99MID, If you like, I can smoke you by tomorrow!
I wasn't refering to Bobby's. His K&N wasn't broken in. In another forum here on the boards it was proven that there was a void created by the end conical filter which made the flow less than the K&N.
I'll search for it later.
