OK, my 98 Contour SVT has gone to lunch (engine), and at the least, I feel that I don't trust the dealership to treat me fairly. Most ppl have told me that a good portion of my engine might be useable, and I won't have to pay for an entire engine.
I need 2 things:
1.) Someone (or 2 or 3) to do open heart surgery and find out for me EXACTLY what went wrong with the engine (Ford doesn't want to waste time on the precise diagnosis)... only wants my $$$$$.
2.) Need the work done per whatever the diagnosis is, hopefully the same person that does the opening dissection. (*** Please see this Forum in the General/Problems section for my experience with the symptoms my SVT exhibited.)
I am hoping for someone in the northern Virginia area, or possibly very southern MD -- I don't wish to have the car sent too far if I can help it.
