Hello all,

I am so pissed off, I spent a whole day last week waxing my car only to wake up this morning and discover a few good sized and quite noticable scratches on the hood of my 2000 CSVT.

At first I thought it was the meatball maintenece people in my complex, but upon closer inspection it is only scratches and they seem consistant with bird scratchings or another small animal.

a few of them are light but some seem rather deep (you can see the basecoat) and while I have done some detailing before in the past as a profession, I am not overly familar with scratch removal short of subbing compound.

I was just wondeirng if there was anything I could do to lessen the damage (clay bar or somthing) short of using touchup paint or having the whole hood repainted as the first option looks ugly and the second it too expensive right now.

Any options would be appreciated, thanks
