Sure it will...if you don't use it right!! The people that blow engines due to NOS are the ones who "think" they know more then the mfg's settings for that particualr car. Meaning they up the preasure higher then it should be and boom. There own fault!
If you use NOS, "AS DIRECTED", it is completely safe, especially now with the DIY kits.

Yeah, a buddy of mine had a 70 shot on his stock civic engine for 2 years, sprayed a little every day with no problems...just don't over do it. (IE-Fast and the Furious)
It's a good HP/$$ mod if done properly.

I'm considering this mod and I was wondering if anybody has done the legwork on which nitrous kit is the best suited for the money on a 98 SVT? Or at least what are some of the choices on brands.......?

I have never had Nitrous in my car and I seriously doubt I ever will.
It may be cheap to add nitrous to your car, but it is not permanent and constant power. It is really only useable on a drag strip and has to be refilled when it runs out. To me the money is better spend on a good set of Headers free flowing cat and a good intake and mufflers. Add components that have always there power, not just when your bottle is full. It will cost you more up front but could save you alot in the end once your addicted to Nitrous and filling your bottle up twice a week.
Just my opinion.

Just my opinion. That is my thoughts on it. I considered getting it but I figured with the money I spent on refilling it I could save for a much better permanent mod.

Just go with a zex kit, about 450 dollars. It is so easy to install, you could have a 10 year old kid install it for you.
