I'm going with the 16:9 TV. It's HDTV ready, so I know that I'll have to buy the HDTV receiver eventually. I'm getting it for a good price, and I thought the Mitsu screen looked a tad better than the Toshiba screen. I agree with you OC when you say that the Pioneer Elite series is the best. I only wish I could afford one of those.

I already have a Dolby Digital home theater system, but I'm upgrading that also. I currently have Bose 501s for my front speakers. I have a JBL 10" sub, and Boston Acoustics for my center and rear speakers. I have the Sony STR-GA8ES receiver and my DVD player has Dolby Digital processing built in (it's a Sony also). I'm upgrading my receiver to the Onkyo 898 model along with all Cambridge soundworks speakers.

The TV is going to cost me 3700 or so delivered (3G for the TV, 400 for the extra warranty, 45 for delivery, 150 for the matching shelves for the stereo, and of course tax). The stereo upgrade will be about 3300 for a grand total of 7000! I know, I'm a great mathematician. I'm going to be shelling way too much money out in the next 3 months or so...

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome to the world of CEG.
