Are you going widescreen, or 4:3? I think Mitsubishi only does widescreen for their HDTVs, but I could be mistaken.
I was in the same boat as you, closed on my house in June, bought the 55" Toshiba HDTV (4:3 aspect ratio) a month later, and I absolutely love it.. But then I needed killer sound to go with the killer picture. Three months later, I have a Denon 3802 receiver, NHT SuperSeries speakers (5), an SVS 20-39CS subwoofer, and a Samson S700 amp to power the sub (400W). Roughly $3K for the home theater stuff, another $2K for the TV, and then another $3K for leather couches, to complete the room
Ouch, I could have bought a used Focus for that price. But I think it was well worth it.. Post some pics if you have any. And if you don't have a subwoofer yet, and plan on going that route, you can do no better than the SVS, even at triple the cost. (Granted the SVS is twice as expensive as most subs, but there's a reason for it)
