Well, I finished installing my new 6x9 Infinity Kappa speakers (the green ones) in my car today. I have the three-way speakers (model 693.1i) in the front doors and the two-way speakers (model 692.1i) in the rear doors. I had these speakers in my possession for over four months; however, circumstances prevented me from installing them sooner.
As far as sonic quality is concerned, I noticed that have a little more midrange and slightly deeper bass (and additional bass punch) than I had with the Pioneer 6x8 speakers [TS-6805 (triaxial) in the front and TS-6803 (coaxial) in the rear]. In addition, I can "crank it up" more with less distortion. This is a decent alternative for those of you who can't (or won't or don't) have a subwoofer in your car.
Now I need to reset my amp settings (gain and EQ)!
