mad I live in a pretty nice apartment complex with suposed(security)... I got home a couple nights ago and came up to my apartment. I had a Pioneer television, tuner, and dvd player in my car... And came down the next morning to go to work. I got in my car put the keys in the ignition went to put my face back on the t.v. and realized something was terribly wrong.... mad Some Piece os S#$t little punk a$$ kid shattered my passenger window, ripped the whole center console out of my car(along with my dimmer switch) Left my $1000.00 cd.player, and ripped my T.v. tuner/ dvd player from the glove box... They did not get the t.v. face so the Television will do them No f#$king good. They can't even order it because Pioneer has the 4 digit code and reciept number... If they don't have that they can't order it... They left the cables and power wires so how the hell were they planning on using my stuff....? I can't believe this crap... I put alot of money and pride in my car and some little punk ass kid has the nerve to steal my stuff instead of getting a job at Mcdonalds for a couple of months and get their own s#@t...$2000.00 Dollars in s#@t is gone... Gotsta start all over.. Sorry people I just had to vent... mad

Get an alarm that pages you...

That was my first step before installing any car audio/anything of value.

Next time that punk will get a suprise when he is ripping stuff out of your car and you run up on him. I get a slight break on insurance also cause of my alarm...

sorry to hear that you lost your tv though...

If you have your receipts, I think your insurance should cover your losses.

I kept all reciepts but my insurance is dickin me around saying they are gonna wait 4 months to see if they try to pawn it to save themselves some money... Why would they pawn it without the face on it??? I do have an alarm... It's an Excalibur Gold series but the thing fried a month ago.. And Excalibur has been around forever but guess what they went out of business about 6 months ago I was told.. When I bought the alarm I even signed a piece of paper saying If anything was stolen while this alarm is on your vehicle we will help cover up to $4000.00 in losses... Right.... This sux....

One ting I believe is this will come back to them one day.. I'm just glad they didn't take my rims or trash the car... The Tv will be back soon enough... But not before I get my new Alarm.

I had to replace the dimmer switch, Center console and since they stole my t.v... I had to put the radio back in the origional place and order another cubby hole to go down by the shifter... Yay... Fun, Fun, Fun.... I had a Tv in my car because I found it for a good deal, and I always wanted one. Oh well... It was fun for road trips...

It man, I know. I had my car broken into in the parking lot of my work 2 weeks ago. The car was 20 ft. off of the street and in broad daylight. I lost my TV, DVD, and brand new CD player. The j@ckass was nice eough to just unplug everything though and not cut wires. But he must have cut himself when he taking out my deck, cause he left a nice blood sample and fingerprint. smile My insurance company just said to get estimates on what it would cost to replace though. No receipts or anything. It totalled out to just under $3,000. They're even covering the cost of the new $1310.40 Ford O.E. dashboard. What a joke. Best of luck with the insurance company though.
