Well I did it. I traded in the SVT for an SUV. Don't hate but my needs have changed since I bought the contour two years ago. Since I just got married and just bought a house I needed something that would suit my needs better than the SVT. Trust me this was not an easy decision for me to make. But after thinking about the furture and knowing that me and my wife would like to start a family in 3-4 years it became a pretty easy decision for me. So I will still be lurking around here but not nearly as often. I had a great time at the meets and it was fun getting to know you guys, and who knows maybe one day I'll show up at a meet, that's if you all don't mind of course.

Ok ... now that it's out of my system, It's cool that you are thinking about those other things first. Can you believe there are guys out there that would think of their cars before their ladies ??? If we don't see ya good luck with all your plans. I hope everything works out for the best.

(even though the bed is only 4 foot long, but with the optional bed extender it's 6' long) If you get a chance check out www.mysporttrac.com The site is relativiley (sp?) new, but then again so is the sporttrac. Also go here, www.fototime.com/{1001E1AD-5770-47D5-BFD0-AC12C8B20F99}/picture.JPG This is not my truck but mine looks exactly like it.

Nice! SportTracs are cool trucks, gotta love the vinal floor and power rear bed window. Some real "utility" in an SUV

The bed extender is pretty trick. Folded in, it's good for groceries, etc. Folded out, it gives you the space of a normal pickup. Just remember not to load anything too heavy on top of the tailgate.

I bought my SVT because I knew I would be starting a family in the near future!!! Hmmm... The wife's car is there for carting around the rugrats! I do feel better though now that I've seen Matt's SVT with a load of carseats in there. Nice to know that they will fit.

Oh, one other thing. I suppose you left all of your mods on the car when you got rid of it?? I got dibs if you held on to some of the stuff, especially the B&M! If you did hang on to the stock parts, do you have any of them that you'd like to get rid of? Hook up the local guys before you go offering it up to the CEG in general...
