i applaud you for your efforts!! it sounds like a cool idea - hopefully it does draw in a lot of cool air.
all i can say is - 'watch out for those puddles!!!'
you don't want to be sucking in water with that cold air.......and i'm not so sure about keeping it in there for the winter....especially with all of the sand on the roads.
