Elky I'm sorry you had a poor service experience with Bonnell. Let me just say that no dealership is perfect and they all have their faults here and there.
I have always received excellent treatment from Bonnell Ford. In Bonnell's defense, what you are describing NVH, can be one of the hardest issues to diagnose. It's not like you had a broken tranny in which case the repair is obvious. A "noise"? That could be a million different things and it can be perfectly normal for your tour to make some "noise". My 21k 00 SVT contour does, after all it's still a unibody chassis so its to be expected to have some noises/rattles. Sad but true. Personally, I'd like to hear the car for myself to see if all this hostility is really necessary.
Let me also note that Bonnell Ford is one of the few dealers in this region that has stepped up to the plate. They directly sponsor/support the SVTOA Boston/New England Chapter. We would not be able to run many of our events(autox's @ Devens, shows, etc) without their support.
I'd like to further testify that they're all a bunch of asses at that place.
the mere site of kurt bonnell makes you want to kick this guy in the face.
As for Kurt Bonnell frenchblueC2 he is also a friend of mine and an "enthusiast" and has always demonstrated a willingness to work with the customer. Bonnell is a family run operation and yes they do care about issues such as reputation and quality care.
I'd be more than happy to discuss these matters with them @ our next SVTOA meeting. If you feel that strongly why don't you come down to attend the next meeting?
