Elky I'm sorry you had a poor service experience with Bonnell. Let me just say that no dealership is perfect and they all have their faults here and there.

I have always received excellent treatment from Bonnell Ford. In Bonnell's defense, what you are describing NVH, can be one of the hardest issues to diagnose. It's not like you had a broken tranny in which case the repair is obvious. A "noise"? That could be a million different things and it can be perfectly normal for your tour to make some "noise". My 21k 00 SVT contour does, after all it's still a unibody chassis so its to be expected to have some noises/rattles. Sad but true. Personally, I'd like to hear the car for myself to see if all this hostility is really necessary.

Let me also note that Bonnell Ford is one of the few dealers in this region that has stepped up to the plate. They directly sponsor/support the SVTOA Boston/New England Chapter. We would not be able to run many of our events(autox's @ Devens, shows, etc) without their support.

I'd like to further testify that they're all a bunch of asses at that place.
the mere site of kurt bonnell makes you want to kick this guy in the face.
As for Kurt Bonnell frenchblueC2 he is also a friend of mine and an "enthusiast" and has always demonstrated a willingness to work with the customer. Bonnell is a family run operation and yes they do care about issues such as reputation and quality care.

I'd be more than happy to discuss these matters with them @ our next SVTOA meeting. If you feel that strongly why don't you come down to attend the next meeting?

BANG! BOOM! The battle ensues...!

Actually, it'd be great to get Kurt to come to a CEG event one of these days. Hmmm?

93Cobra_96Cobra_00Contour, I'm a member of SVTOA, but have yet to make it to any events. Would it be too much to ask you to post here about upcoming events? I'd like to attend one at least seeing as I paid the dues. I found out about the Autocross at Devens too late because I rarley ever go on SVTOA.org. Thanks.

As a side note, I have a 00 SVT and I don't have any noises, and its lowered. I did have the standard rear suspension creaking, but I fixed that, now she's silent.

CobraR sure thing. Actually I have posted events in both the NE and CT forums before but only a couple tour owners have come out so far. Although I will say Pat Riley has been to our last 2 autox's and I think he can vouch for how much fun these events are!

just to point out and clarify so you all don't think elky is crazy after all this ranting:
it's definitely not a rattling sound or a natural creaking sound that can/should be tolerated as "just another sound the car makes/deal with it, etc".
I've heard it numerous times.
it is DEFINITELY a suspension squeak, definitely not natural and definitely shouldn't be tolerated.
