yeah it was me....
wired up the sunroof module according to the newest drawings sent tome yesterday.... ad it keeps popping the 20 amp fuse when i plug in the switch. thats without the module even plugged in.
tom and his friend steve keep telling me that i must have pin 30 and 87A mixed up. but that was teh original dilema.... i have to paly some more tonight and see whats what.
wasn't sure what peoblems you ran into when you did it. i know you had some issues. just wondering if they wee the same.
check your PM's

remember when I put together those jumper cables that went between the two relays, double check them I might have plugged the wires onto the wrong terminals.

the way you wired it jay was completly wrong when compared to teh new schematics. so its actually a good thing we didnt finish it.
i actually had to add diodes across some of the terminals!

elky, sorry i havent got back to you sooner i have been really busy bustin my ass to find a job. anyway i talked it over with the kid who helped me out, we had the same exact issues, i remmeber that the schematic he had sent me was wrong. After we fixed that we determined that it was the board...and since you are having the same issues and according to you and him the schematic is correct then it leads me to believe that maybe when he soldered the board, there is a soldered short in the board, as soon as he sent me a new board it worked... so perhaps thats the issues.... let me know what happenes. I talked to him about it when i had my issues and he was cool with it.

hows this for crazy... i have yet to hook the board up!!
i am somehow bloweing fuses just with the sunroof switch and the relays hooked up. makes no sense. i have chased the wireing a hundred times everything is to thier specs yet still goes *POP*
i completely understand how the circuit is supposed to work, it makes total sense. i follow wires and they go where they are supposed to. there isn't anything screwy that i can see.
ARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH. i am getting frustrated with this thing.
i have emaile dtom and steve ant they keep telling mew the same thing...i must have pins 30 and 87a mixed up....NOPE i even switched them around and still pop.
i amabout ready to give up and tear it out. its not worth my time to deal with it.

i dun dood did done fingered it out!! the friggin relays are wrong. ther are set up to run fog lights so both output pins 87 and 87a are connected together. so the poer going to 87b goes right out 87a and into the switch, shorting evrything out!! amd of course the only place open is wally world and they dont have them.
damnit!!
