hehehe. I've been doing that for a while now.
In fact, I couldn't help but snicker a bit when I saw that Meguiars came up with a "wax" that you spray before you dry bottle the other day.
Basically, its the same as the QD (Quick Detailer).
I agree, especially if you have a good layer of wax already on the car. However, when you wash it with Dawn, you're probably not doing much for yourself other than wasting the spray.
Remember - QD'ing ONLY really works well with fresh wax on it. When QD becomes a PITA to wipe off, It's TIME TO RE-WAX!!!
