Thanks guys.
OK I just used this stuff on my tires...I am not a fan of the 'tire dressings' that people (including my detailer) use. It just loads crap on top of brake dust, tar, etc. What a joke.
This stuff is awesome. At 1st I thought I was like melting my tires, as it seems to have 'softened' the rubber at 1st, but in reality it seems to have merely lifted a lot of embedded crap off the rubber. The tires look 'new' as in really new, that fresh rubber appearance, not shiny, not 'wet', but new.
Anyhow enough rambling - the stuff is called "Auto Fit Refinish System Restorer"
The manufacturer is Vosschemie, and to be honest I don't even know where it's made...it appears to be a sprokets production...here is the company address

You can "telefon" them at 0 41 22 71 70. Just tell them that Claus sent you
Go on google.com and look it up for more info. The vendor around here is Crown Auto Body Supply in Salem, MA.
It costs $30/liter, but my friend gets it at cost for $20/liter. (See get terms and an account at the auto supply shop!)
It must be 1/2 decent since it (a) it works (b) it has directions in 12 languages on the can so they sell a lot of it and (c) if a dinky body supply shop in Salem MA carries it, there must be a reason for it.
Good luck!
