I kinda like the look of em. I think that it looks a little better without them, and it would be easier to wax, but I would be so pissed if I went thru all that and even 1 door was noticable. Plus I read in a post that some of the later builds don't have clearcoat underneath.

I don't think that the difference in appearance justifies the risk or the time spent. I have gotten dents above the door dings, but I also have little scratches on them where I think someone with a lower car than an SUV opened their door into mine and instead of denting it scratched the door dings. Everyone talks about how all the dings they see are above the door dings, that's because if someone hits the door dings it doesn't dent. confused
