so i finally took a look at my car tonight to see wtf the deal was with the noise in the passenger rear side and it seems as if it was put on wrong.
there is a ton of play in the spring which causes it to move side to side. I took a look at the rear drivers side and it is fine. does not have any give like the passenger side. So apparently it is on wrong in some form or another. I do not have spring compressors so i can not do anything about it. There appears to be a gap at the top and it wont sit flush on both ends. Here is a pic , see if you can tell.

Need to get this fixed so i can get a sticker.
thnkx guys.

COREY: also one of the stupid a** konig tantrum badges that sits on the wheel fell off and its gone, apprently they dont glue them good. Can you please see if you can get me another one so i can glue it on or whatever, it looks dumb with it missing. thnx

If the problem started after we put the suspension together I doubt that it something was put in wrong becasue you would have noticed it immediately.

If it suddenly occured after the install I'd suggest that maybe the spring broke. In that case it would be a warranty issue on the spring manufacturer's behalf.

Its also possible that some other part broke as well

Isn't the top end of the spring supposed to butt up against the perch ?? Usually the perch is shaped to accept the spring.

HTH .... you are not having much luck with that car Mike. frown

after a long talk with jsmith we think it may be the plate the spring sits in...may be busted. it moves with the spring. Since this is a pain and i need my abs sensors done and my tranny mount im going to go visit the shop tommorow and see what its going to soak me to get it all done there.. I do have the sensors and the mount so i should save some $$ there. But who knows. Ill keep everyone updated. $$ is running low, 4 weeks left on unemployemt frown ohh well.
