yeah. you can see the ding guards were the things that imprinted into the doors, and left dents. oh. livid beyond livid.

Did it and love it. Wished I would have done it sooner. I love the look, and it's soooo much easier to wash/wax.

all but one door was great.. the FR door sucked ass.. looked like it had been painted w/door dings on, and left an elliptical shape (where the guards had been) imprinted in my door...
otherwise.. immaculate.. and I would recommend the overall effect..

too bad i can't vote twice! i removed them from my 96 SE. passenger side, perrrrfect! driver side, no clearcoat on the bottom. the previous owner of my SVT (mto rsx) removed them, had to put on about 10 layers of wax and you could still see there was an imperfection. he just put them back on. hence the reason why i still have them on today. oh well.

oh. livid beyond livid. Those look like crease marks, not dings. Like maybe someone pressed against the ding guards with a lot of pressure like someone backing into the doors or something. I don't blame you for being livid. Karl

I really don't want to remove mine. They go well with the sidemarkers I have on my car.

I haven't removed mine and don't really plan to. As a matter of fact, maybe I'll collect everyone's removed door dings and door ding protect the entire sides of my car from top to bottom! No more little dents in my door to make me angry after that. :p

Karl[/b]yeah that's what i meant, sorry if i didn't word it right? i know they aren't from actual door dings. i don't know what the hell happened. for all the time that i've had my car i have not hit anybody or anything w/ my doors (knock on wood), unless somebody did something to me when i was in a store or whatever? i'm thinking this was done previously before i owned it i'm bummed.
