hehe sorry, just wanted to get some attention

but seriously i was just over on the focus forums and MAN, there are lots of turboed and S/C focus's putting serious power to the ground.. im thinking, why arnt any contours doing this?

there are so many zetec contours, why dosent someone buy a focus turbo or S/C kit and fit it to their car?

confused

because I Zetec isn't a Zetec in some cases... IE the Jackson Racing SC won''t work on the Contour, Cougar or the ZX2 cause the Focus has a Different throttle body then the others. I have talked to Jackson racing and they said no way it would work. on the turbos they are either an aero or a home made kit the aero is a 5psi kit and doesn't put down much hp for the cost and also wouldn't work on trhe tours... terry has a turbo for the contour but nobody has gotten one yet some day I will have the money to get one from him.

It really sucks that something as simple as a throttle body would make a turbo impossible to install on our cars. So let me get this straight, is the Zetec in the Contour the same as the Cougar's? If so, why isn't there a turbo yet? Sure seems like the Cougar crowd would be barking for one. confused We really need to get with the Cougar guys more and try hammering out some more aftermarket parts... or maybe we already are and I'm just living under a rock. laugh

just ask LoCO how much modification it took to fit a header to his Zetec... a header for a ZX2 which is also a Zetec. it is more than just the Throttle body that is different there are also differences else where like clearences in the engine compartments on the different Zetec powered cars. I'm too lazy to type out all the reasons all the Zetec parts won't fix on the contour.

There are no more excuses. I think Terry would agree.
