Hi Guys,

I have a business trip coming up and I was wondering which airport would be the best to fly too. I'm coming from Toronto and my Ultimate destination is Brigham Women's Hospital in Boston. Is Logan a good choice? I may also boot over to Andover.

Thanks,
..Joe

Hi joe! Well, if you are going to Brigham Women's Hospital, your best bet is to probably fly into Logan and take public transportation. If you fly into Logan and plan to rent a car, it'll be a major pain in the a$$. If you do want a car I suggest flying into Worcester if you can, or Providence RI, or Manchester NH. Those airports are a little nicer, but they aren't as close to downtown Boston as Logan is. Logan is right next to downtown so public transportation is available.

When will you be coming? Maybe you come to a meet.

if you're gonna be staying in Boston then I'd say your best bet is to fly right into Boston (Logan) as well. it makes the most sense.

will you be renting a car and such?
are you already booked in a hotel?

I'll be coming up July 8 and staying 2 nights and flying out on the 10th. Definite for BWH, and may have to go to Philips (Agilent) in Andover.

A dude here suggested to fly into Manchester and stay at the Wyndham (sp?). I will be renting a car for sure.

There are tons of hotels on Rt93 (which takes you directly into Boston from Manchester.)

Or if you wanted to stay in boston, the Wyndham is an excelent choice. My roomate used to work there, and i know the doorman. He knows boston better than i know my right hand. If youstayed there i could make sure he points you in the right direction for a good time.

I am sure we will have a meet scheduled for the weekend you are here...
hell it looks like we are working on a meet a week!!

you poor soul
I hope someone gives you darn good directions to get to where you need to be in Boston.
aaand you can actually follow the directions properly without pulling all your hair out!

If I were you, I'd stay in a hotel in boston and use public transportation to get to BWH and then use the rental car only for the trip to Andover.

Okay thanks for your help...

I've decided to fly into Manchester (twin prop here I come!!!!) and rent a car and stay in Andover. When I need to go to BWH, I'll follow a Philip's guy or shar a ride.

..Joe
