I only use 92 and higher octane rated fuel in our 98 SVT. Had a friend with a 98 SVT say to use 89 (Regular). I laughed at this suggestion! He said on a road trip the mpg went up by 5..
Was 25 lets say and is now 30. Didn't get the specific #'s but he did say by 5 mpg!
Is this possible?
Why use premium grade?
Just a fluke?
