Thanks for the advice Jay, but that's not really the problem. The loam I got this spring had a rather high content of sand, and the weather after I seeded was very cold (with some snow). The combination has delayed the seedlings. They are finally coming in, but will need an additional seeding and a coat of topsoil. The rest of the yard looks like a golf course, it's just way out back I'm working on now
