yesterday my friend and I went up to Stinson Beach -- I drove out, and she drove home. And... when she started going down the descending twisties, and was beginning to "have fun" with them... I found that, though I probably would have driven them about the same... from the passenger seat, her driving scared the crap out of me.

You're probably a control freak like me. I like to be in the driver's seat whenever I'm in a car. Just returned from a 1700+ mile vacation...did I let my wife drive any of them? What do you think...

I've been thinking of installing a passenger brake pedal in my car, like the ones in the drivers ed cars. My right foot wants to go through the floorboard every time my wife barrels up on someone's rear bumper.

P.S. I usually don't let people breathe on my car, let alone drive it. Prior to my 91 Camry's untimely death, I had spent over 1700 bucks in gas in just under 10 months and racked 24k on the Odo.
