My dad got pulled over last March, and the cop pointed at his windshield and asked what was wrong. Dad of course has no idea... the cop says 'Your inspection sticker is overdue by 7 months.' Turns out that last August, when we annually got the car inspected, was messed up because we went on vacation that very week and completely forgot about the sticker.

But guess what? He was pulled over SIMPLY because the cop noticed an overdue sticker. Nothing else was wrong!

Darksidaz watch out! These cops will nab you for anything if they have nothing better to do. Hugo for tint, my dad for sticker... any other good stories?

I have one for you all. I was in my girlfriend's Impreza :rolleyes: down by the Framingham mall (she was driving) and we go by this side street with a cop sitting there. Well as soon as we go by, he comes flying out lights a blazin. Pulls us over for an overdue inspection. My girlfriend lived in Malden, MA at the time. I look at her, and she says she didn't know she had to have it inspected!!!!! She moved out from Colorado and hadn't had it inspected in 2 years!!!!

It gets better.... "License and Registration Please"... She hands him both, he goes back to the car..... about 15 minutes later (no exaggeration here!!!) he comes back. I'm sorry but we have to tow your car, your registration has expired!!!!! She never renewed her registration!!!!!!

So, 2 tickets for no inspection and no registration and the car gets towed to the impound. The tow truck driver gives us a ride to the police station and we have a friend come get us (the cop wouldn't give us a ride.)
