Hugo....don't rip off the back. they can be as dark as you want. its the fronts that matter. they need to be 35% or more. so if anything just take the frnt off. its gonna cost you almost the same as the ticket to get them redone nicely.
i will make some calls this week to get exact details on the laws...

well, after talking to Hugo (hmouta), I think I am going to "attempt" at removing my tint myself....
it would save me some money in the process.
hopefully it isn't too painful to pull off...
i might try this this weekend.....gotta get to the police station soon to show him.
anyway - any REAL GOOD reccomendations on tint?
i'm thinking of like 28 - 30% on the rears....

hugo, do u wear glasses? if u can find a doctor or optometrist, they'll sign off a dmv tint waiver cuz your light sensitive.
hugo, do a search for tint law/ rules (something like this). i remember finding links to sites breaking down the % by states. if i remember correctly, i think mass was 35 all around. ct was 35 front and back(i think) and back window can be anything.

MA is 35% all the way around. yes I wear glasses (contacts) but i doubt my doctor would write me up as photosensitive.... i wonder though....
