I honestly don't know anything about the CTA Intake, but I know that the IAC is in a different location on the SVT engines, and non-SVT 2.5L Duratechs. The IAC is in the stock air box on the non-SVT engines, while the IAC in the SVT engines is in the flexable air pipe, down stream of the MAF. Therefore the IAC only needs to be relocated in non-SVT cars. At least this was exactly the case between my car and Kim's. (We both have the KKM)

Doug, I'll take some pics of the differrences today.[/b]
The IAT sensor and IAC Valve are in the SAME locations for SVT and Non-SVT Duratechs.

IAT is in the Air Filter box, and the IAC is on the UIM next to the firewall and EGR Valve.

The IAT "HAS TO BE" in the Air Filter Box because it reads Incoming Ambient Air Temperature
PRIOR to the MAF.
If it doesn't, then the MAF readings are inaccurate.[/b]
so why are the filters different? if all of that is the same - why have model specific filters? confused
