I have Verizon DSL and so far it's been pretty reliable. I did have a problem after a couple of weeks where I could not connect. I spent 2.5 hrs talking to tech support who couldn't figure it out.

I eventually found that the cat5 cable from the modem to the pc has a open in it somewhere (even though the "link" light on the modem showed good) meaning I wasn't connecting. I told Verizon about what I found and they told me to buy a new cable myself.

They did call 4 times thought to see if everything else was ok.

Overall, I'd be happy to go with them again. I'm getting ~98kbps d/loads on a 768/128 plan.
