well, no news is good news.

revs up a lot quicker - that's for sure. When I was test driving the car, I hit 6500rpm a LOT sooner than I was used to. Then shifted into second and spun second for a while....(sorry Mark! wink ) I confessed to him a while back...hehehe

anyway - i like it. A lot of people don't like them because of the lack of the harmonic balancer....but so far no problems.... smile

guess there is a risk at higher RPMS with the damper removed and a underdrive pulley installed....ask mark (worldtour) he can fill in the true details....

due to the configuration of the engine it is very susceptable to crankshaft resonation which is real bad.

Inline and opposed engines are naturally balanced since the recriprocating action is all on the same plane, while a V formation there is recriprocating action on two different planes.

You don't notice any vibration, but its there. If you don't notice anything now, just wait.

If you want faster reving go for a lighter flywheel. It does not affect the harmonics of the engine and it has a larger diameter than the pulley so even a small reduction in flywheel mass will make for a large reduction in inertia. Inertia is a product of mass and velocity, since the flywheel has a larger diameter, it will have more inertia.

I'd love to stay and chat about inertia properties of rotating masses like, circumfrence x RPM equals tangental velocity, and gyroscopic procession, but I have to go now.

yeah - i've been contemplating on whether I should go back to the stock pulleys. I still have them and the belt....

maybe a mod day mod....hahaha

ps - corey - this coming from a guy who has the Supercharger on his system with like a 70% failure rate? hahahaha! You're the lucky one dude....
the UDP's have a higher success ratio than the S/C!! (please ignore the fact that there were a lot more pulleys sold than S/C ok, otherwise i have no point.... wink )
j/k....hahaha laugh
