Hey NE peeps. I've constantly been thinking about ditching the Contour this summer for a 5-speed, but I think I will just try and ignore the CEL as much as possible. So I'm looking for some larger wheels/tires. Is anyone selling theirs. I like the 16" E0 or E1s, but I'm also interested in going all out and getting 17's for the GL. If anyone has any leads, please let me know. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply man. What kind of percentage discounts can you get? I don't want to spend more than $600 for a package...which is why I'm keeping my eye out for used as well.

less than 600, goodluck smile keep your eyes open for used rims/tires....unless you want smaller than 16's........

16's with tires after shipping is usually around 700 but it depends on what rims and what tires you want

i just got my buddy 18's with tires, and after shipping it was 1225....which is good smile

go to those web sites i told you about, see what you like and post the tires kind and rim kind and i will get you some quotes wink laugh

Check out E-bay. They had a set of E1 rims with brand new blizzaks for $450. Swap the rubber for Bridgestone Potenza S-03s. Or go to ABC Greenleaf auto salvage in Leominster/Sterling. They had E0 rims for $85 each! I don't think that they came with the centercaps, but you could probably get some of those on E-bay.

Another great trick is to find a set of wheels you like at any rim/tire store. Then get pricing from tirerack and go back to the store. They will typically match the pricing (but they will compensate for shipping) I saved close to $150 on tires one time from NTB by getting pricing from Tirerack!

BTW, the rims from ABC Greenleaf are new Ford rims. Greenleaf is a Ford Company for their reman program.

Bejesus man, I called ABC when I first got the tour looking for wheels, and he said he could get SVT wheels for $150 each. I'm actually lookin for wheels with tires on them so I might hold off for a good deal from someone on here selling their SVT wheels. I don't think I have a preference to E0 or E1.
