Just wanted to pass an FYI along to you guys (especially Mike, since sarat likes to f**k w/you!).

I brought my 00'SVT into Enfield Ford to finally have the dash looked at for replacement. They were very courteous at the Service counter, getting an appointment scheduled for the day after I called.

I arrived on time and was immediately assisted by a counter person, who then asked for a way to get in contact with me when theyt were done inspecting the car (and rotating the tires along with lubing a dry rear suspension bearing). But, to my surprise, no rental. I was a little perplexed, so i went and looked for Bob, the guy who sold me my car in March. He immediately looked at me and asked me what was wrong with the 'tour. I told him, and he then asked if there was anything I needed while I waited. I was about to get out the fact that I wasn't offered a rental, and he offered his dealer's 01' Taurus SES car for me to use. I was a little stunned that he read my mind, and he read my face and said that it was the least he could do. He also smirked and said that, because I have HIS car, the boys in the shop would move their a** a little quicker to get my car squared away. If they didn't, he was going to loan me a new 01' "Bullit" Mustang until my car was taken care of. He said it was bulls**t that I wasn't offered a rental, being a "loyal customer" and would relay my story to the mmanager of the dealership for follow-up so that it wouldn't happen again.

Sarat Who??? wink Mike....I think it's time to go to Enfield Ford and say f**k Sarat!!!

I hope everyone had a happy New Year!!!

Ohh Hell YEA!!!!! Now thats what im talking about. Thats the way service should be. smile

A question about the whole dash recall thing. Do you have to get something in the mail or do you just go to a shop and tell them its on recall and they take care of it ??

Info is appreciated.

Thanks for the info, i,ll defently check out Enfield Ford next time i need something.

Hey Mike!!! Nice to hear from you again!! Actually, I went to this sites TSB sectionb and got a printour of the recall #, but the dealer knew about it and didn't hassle me for the info....I hope that helps!! BTW, they are just going to replace the dash and hold it down with steel clips instead of glue (sounds good to me).
