The SVTOA Boston/New England chapter will be hosting a Karting event @
www.F1boston.com on Sat 1/12/02 @ 10:00 am. All SVT Contour and Ford Powered Vehicle owners welcomed!
Meet a bunch of fellow SVT/Ford Gearheads. Imagine yourself behind the wheel of a modified kart, open wheel racing @ speeds in excess of 30mph, powersliding @ will through the corners, oh my 8-o! Come down and check out the action:
-Hangout
-Talk shop
-Have lunch
-Then do your best impersonation of Schumacher boy on the closed course circuit.
You'll have a fun time guaranteed =). WARNING: Karting can become addictive! I'm even going to up the ante this year. This year we will be offering a new set of SVT shades to whichever SVTOA member turns the
quickest lap time for the day! Prices start @ around $35.00 which includes a license fee. Actual track time consists of 3 qualifying laps followed by 15 race laps. Additional races are $25.00 each.
