it would be a 2 hour drive for us CT guys, but would be worth it.

There is a similar place to the F1 here in windsor, but is a much smaller facility. www.karttrak.com

anyone live near the F1 facility, fill us in.

get us some details to help spark intrest. If we are going to make this happen I hope we can have as good of a turnout as we did at applefest.

I have been to Kart Trak and it was damn fun! What if we were to reserve F1 for oursleves, it says they have special bookings. I would be in for something like that.

when I planned to habe a meet at kart trak I asked about renting the trak for an hour they said it would be between $1200 and 1500. and thats just for an hour. With F1 being a larger facility I would imagine the price to be similar or higher.

I've wanted to go to F1 Boston for a while, but being in NH I would have to drive through the latrine (Big Dig). I won't take my SVT through that if you paid me. So if we do have a meet there you can count on the Grand Marquis being there instead.

anyone with a membership at F1 can reserve space ahead of time. I just let my membership lapse because I didn't have a great time there the last time I went. I had a blast the first time, but the novelty wears off after a few visits. Just my opinion. there's plenty to do there while you wait for a space to open up anyhow. pool, bar, restaurants...all costing big $$$$ I should add (for a college kid anyway). my folks live right down the street from there so I used to go a lot. i posted about this before i think. if you go, make sure you do the track to the left and not the right if at all possible.

all in all a good time if you're new to it, and still fun if you don't get rearended, sideswiped or trapped behind slow-movers like i inevitably do. I would definitely be down for going again if I knew i'd be racing against some CEGers.

if you have any questions let me know. i might be able to find out the info a little easier since i'm local.
