i didn't touch the colors, but i used GraphicConverter instead of Photoshop to crop and compress the images from the camera. I think Photoshop tends to mute the colors on JPGs.

Mark did not attend Fun Ford Weekend, he won his trophy at that latin car show or whatever.
There is no way in hell he would have won a trophy at the dragway.
it was ruled by mustangs.
A contour from CEG however, won Best Contemporary and bostonfocus (as you know) won best compact.

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I did not attend the Fun Ford Weekend because of obligations at work that had to be taken care of. The only reason I went to the Latin Creations car show that sunday was because I got done early but didn't have the energy to drive all the way to Fun Ford Weekend.

I won first place at a car show that had a ton of different makes of cars in it, both imports and domestics and I was the best in my class. The judging at the car show was not done by the people who were showing their cars but was done by the car club that sponsered the show. I got the most points for my class so the First Place trophy is now on my bookshelf at home.
I don't drag race my car anyway. It's not setup for that. I'm sure if I did race it on the drags the Mustangs would have beaten me.
Maybe i would have pulled off a trophy and maybe i wouldn't have. It doesn't matter tho.
On a brief side note, this was the very first trophy i've ever won for working on my car. I've been messing around with cars since high school so the local win I managed to get means a great deal to me.

Whoa, cougarsc99. Hold the trash talk. Kim said nothing bad about you or the car. She simply meant that the Fun Ford weekend is all about Mustangs and that for a Contour or Cougar, or anything BUT a Mustang to win is just an incredible feat. She meant no disrespect or anything of the nature. That's not the way Kim is. I hope you will reconsider and post an apology. OK, dude?

I took offense at her posting. When she responds to me telling me that she didn't mean to offend me or belittle me because I went to a Local Car show then I will gladly post an apology. I don't feel i was out of line in anyway.
If I offended you or anybody else for that matter I'm sorry as that was not my intention.
I realize that the Fun Ford weekend is a big Mustang show.
The show I went to was 90% imports but they were nice enough to create a Ford/Mercury class. I went to the Latin Creations' car show just to have fun and managed to come home with a trophy. For me it was just as exciting as I'm sure it was for anyone that won @ Fun Ford Weekend. What made my first place win more special was the fact that this was my first trophy ever and i've been fixing up and modifying cars since high school.
Please do not be offended or upset at what I posted but please let Kim speak for herself.
I most likely read what she put incorrectly and will apologize when I feel it's correct to.

Why is it all of a sudden since you've gotten this trophy you're defensive each time your name is mentioned??
I've seen your posts on focaljet too and have no idea where you're coming from when you think people are dissing you and your car. I've honestly seen absolutely no making fun of you or your car on any forum ever (except for when ponchuno made a joke that you think you have an svt and no one should invite you to meets, but you knew that was a joke).
Everyone speaks well of you and everyone likes you, including myself.

I was merely setting the record straight for Goobah that you hadn't attended fun ford weekend because it seemed that he thought you attended it and won a trophy there, and perhaps he thought therefore you needed to be congratulated just as the other CEGer that won an award there.
No one was getting down on you for not attending fun ford weekend for neither showing nor dragging (because lord knows barely any of us kids dragged hehe).
It would have been great if you were there, but we understand your reasons for not and no one is pissed that you didn't attend. Although your presence would have been great cuz you're such a nice guy.

You would also note that I was one of the many who congratulated you on your award on the NECO forums....
why would I contradict myself here?

Don't be so darn punchy/defensive or otherwise it'll actually give me reason to have a problem with you.

I don't think an apology from you is necessary either, so don't feel like you have to.

woah! everyone, just count to 10 and relax! we're all friends here....at least i think we are.

i think it's awesome that someone from our little group has one a trophy! let's just all smile at that fact and think about what we need to do to win some trophies of our own.

i need a turbo before i will win any trophies. so, i will be starting a collection next week to which you all can donate. when i have amassed four thousand dollars, i will have a turbo, getrag 6 speed, and quaife installed.

no one is allowed to insult anyone else here except me. (j/k)

Kim,
Sorry for the defensiveness. It's not intentional. I should know better than to listen to the rumor mill.
I would have loved to have been able to hang out with you guys up there but I was wayyyyyy too tired to drive the distance.
All is good tho and please forgive me. Things in my neck of the woods are not going well right now so I need to bite my tongue and not blow up so easily.
Thanks for understanding.
By the way there is a car show this weekend in CT.
SORRY EVERYONE. I didn't mean to upset the group.
