That's too bad. They are just plain awful. All the horror stories about dealers apply to Autofair.

I spoke to the parts manager this morning, Pat Enright and her service rep Sue Tyler. Both said that they would see how soon they could turn it around for me. Still, I'm nervous because I'm from out of state. Sue also stated that she would fix the open recalls (wiring harnesses andthe like).
We'll see.

Ryan, it was no problem at all. Stop saying thanks, cause we know you mean it!! hehe. Anyway, I will periodically check on your car. I want them to give you the service that I would expect to get. If they say they are going to take care of some open issues than that's a good sign. Well when I do go over there I'll be sure to wear my SVTOA hat and act like I'm evaluating them on their service becaue I'm looking to start a NH chapter of SVTOA and I'm deciding on which dealer I want to sponser me. eheh. Oh, and we'll see if this "blue oval certified" stuff is for real. Ryan give me a call when you find out when it'll be done. Oh, and I just sent you a PM.

FYI:
I can get the Optima Batteries through work. If anyone is interested I can get better rates for quantities. I can't really pull together a group buy, but if there are a few interested I will get a few coming. for 1-2 price is $142.99, 3-4 = $134.19, 5+ is $125.39. Retail is $189.99, and they typically sell for $169.99. Price is high but there is a 2 yr free replacement warranty and another 48 month prorated warranty that follows. Because it is through work, we would need to pay before they ship.

Just got off the phone with Ford. They are sending a guy to pick up an alternator in Mass today. Will install tomorrow for $424 out the door. Done for 11:00 a.m.

I'm really sorry I couldn't be there!! It sounds like you guys had a great time, even though Mechanical problems reared it's ugly head!! Sounds like the sign of a great car club to me! Wondering what held me up on Sunday? two things(VERY briefly)....#1 DON'T EVER buy any car stereo products from Circuit City and #2 check out my thread in General Mods for more info on THAT fiasco!!
