I have attended one with RoushSC, and they hardly talked about cars.

Alright time to defend NECO - NE. We had a blast at the last meet and took lots of pics and soaked up the sun at the beach and talked alot about cars. As far as us not being as into our cars as the CEG group I can tell you that is far from the truth. I've probably done more mods on my cougar than a good portion of the NECO people and actually have a bunch of stuff going on the car this next week.
Also a good portion of the NECO-NE go to alot of other car shows.
The reason I haven't responded yet as to the get together is it's kinda early for me to plan stuff for the end of August due to the fact that my job is being eliminated and I'm looking at my options.
You know I would love to meet up with you guys and I'm planning on being at Rodman Ford this weekend and hoping that I actually get to meet up with as many people as possible.
Anyway enough of me ranting . Time to get together as a big group and kick some Rice butt laugh

I think you were one of the exceptions that Mike failed to mention as you are always actively responding to any and all get together posts, and you're a pretty cool guy on top of that smile. Perhaps CobraR overgeneralized, but I really think his intensions weren't to slanderize or single out any certain individuals, rather merely stating his disappointment toward the low levels of interest from Cougar owners.

Could just be high expectations. Hopefully not too many Cougar owners have taken offense to his disappointment. I as well would like to see more of them more often.
All I have is Ben. blah he has cooties.
hehe

I might be able to show mine on both days. I'm working on a place for a cookout on the day we decide to all meet. I'm thinking of Odiorne Point State Park on the ocean in Rye,NH. We could leave the Dragway and cruise from Hampton Beach up the coast to Rye. They have an outing area. I will give them a call tomorrow to see if it is available.

thanks Frenchblue. I kinda figured Mike was just venting a bit. I wish u both had been able to join us at the beach. It was so awesome. I'll be at the Rodman show on sunday , (hopefully with all my latest mods completed as i'm waiting for parts right now)
I'll have my photo album from last years cougarfest as well as the NECO NE pics from the beach party. I'm still trying to coordinate a meeting place prior to rodman as I want to drive in with as many cougars as possible.
Thanks for the kind words . I really appreciate it. laugh

Mark, I certainly did not mean you when I was ranting about my disappointment in NECO-NE. I know for a fact that there are a few NECO members that are very active. Any Cougar owner that posts here at CEG is a friend of mine!! smile

Hey Cobra, thanks. I had a feeling you werent directing it at me. It's all cool. I have a local buddy that has a Silver SVT that I'm talking into getting some mods.
Wait till you see the ride this year. Hopefully everything that is on order will be here sat morning so i can get the car all hooked up for the Sunday show @ Rodman smile
Once you lock down a date please let me know so I can look at my schedule better and try to plan accordingly.
Thanks.

What's the deal with fbc2 and Ben? Do they have to compete for your attention Mike? I sense some (friendly) animosity....

What time's the car wash tomorrow?
