We owned a car dealership (Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Citroen, and an occasional Bertone). Grew up in SCCA with both my grandfather and father being SCCA drivers. My father was also an instructor. My father 'retired' when he was in his mid-50's. I've done my fair share of racing at Mid-Ohio and Nelson Ledges, as well as doing some oval racing.

The biggest problem with learning and knowing how to drive is dealing with those that don't (95% of everyone else on the public roadways)!

I love my Contour to death, but my 'vette is still my #1 baby.
There's money to be made in racing. I should know. I put a lot of it there.
You can make a small fortune in racing. Start with a large one.
How fast do you want to go...how much money do you have?
You can fix a lot of things, but you can't fix stupid!
