The best thing to do is only buy a Gas Pedal. Your goal is to help bring the gas pedal closer to the brake pedal, and increase it's overal size.
I have used this setup on both my CSVT and my 87 RX-7. I will try and take some pictures of my setup and post them on my site. I warn you, the setup is ghetto, but it works effectively.
I am able to mash on both the brake and the gas at the same time. Really makes downshifting easy when driving the car hard.
I actually have a Momo Gas pedal, and I am not very happy with it. I ended up attaching it with velcro and tape.
