As everyone else said, it was a great time. Fun having lunch and talking a bit more to learn about each other. We actually have more than just cars in common...imagine that! For the summer or spring meet maybe we could have a big cookout at someones house. Each person could bring an item to reduce the work load of the host. I would be more than happy to have it here in Belmont. Side strret parking all that is avail but it would be a great time. Maybe some sort of car mmet to New England dragway too! Not every one would have to race but maybe have the cookout afterward? Just an idea. Again great turnout. BOS SVT

Hey BOS, not a bad idea. I'm not too far from Epping (NE Dragway). I have an inground pool, with a slide and an underwater light. I'm on a 1/2 acre on a residentual street, and I'm sure I could let all the tours park on the lawn instead of on the street. If you guys wanted to make a whole weekend out of it, we could get together at my house like Friday night, and raid the local Cruise night at the Burger King parking lot. Have a cookout at my house at some point, and maybe head out to Hampton Beach and Cruise around there. Not to mention hitting up the dragway. How does Fast Ford Weekend sound?? You guys could camp out in my yard if ya want. Just some ideas.

Sorry to jump ahead of Skunk who is organizing the Spring Meet. But, I would suggest for a Summer Meet...... New England Dragway August 25-26 for 'Fun Ford Weekend'. Show or Drag. Then cruise to Hampton Beach. Cookout at my Cottage ('They say I'm a hell of a cook') plus I have a fully stocked bar. Then cruise up the coast to Portsmouth. www.newenglanddragway.com [This message has been edited by Rick in NH (edited January 30, 2001).]

i'll definitely check out the dragway again. that was cool. i may or may not be driving my 'tour by then....i might just have my MGB GT ready for the road by that time..... (fingers crossed...i'm not letting THIS one slip by!)
i'll definitely still have the tour through spring, though.
peace, baco
