Is anyone up for a fall get together?? It would be kinda nice to hang out once more before the snow falls. Maybe we could rip through up state NH and Vermont to see the scenery and to blast through the twisty mountain roads. Just a thought.

Well, I'm not sure if its worth it if only 3 of us are going. I'm going to map out a route for myself for a nice weekend drive and I'll post the details later. Anyone is still welcome to come. It might be a hike for some, cause I plan on going up thru the lakes region and White Mountain State park. I've yet to go up there in the fall to see the scenery. I'll keep everyone posted.

My first visit to the CEG forum, after 2.5+ years on the mailing list.
I run Nokian Hakkapeliitta NRW-1 205/60-15 on my stock Mystique LS rims, and while I sometimes wish I had gone even narrower, there's no substitute for a dedicated set of winter tires in Northern climes. I'm heading into my 3rd season with them, am very happy with the go-in-anything winter performance of them; highway ride is OK, noise OK, but of course handling is compromised. Just wish our season wasn't so long and vague, forcing me to keep them on nearly half the year here in Burlington VT.

My 2nd post - I just realized my 1st post
was intended for the other thread, "winter
tires." duh.
I'm game for a get together, if in the NH/VT
area, in October, so long as I'm not out of town on business... I can send a note to the people who got together in the spring for the "NE-CEG" meet (6 people) if there is anything specific in mind. thanks.

Ok, well I was planning on cruising around the lakes region and up into the white mountains along the Kancamancus Hwy. I was thinking about meeting at a location that's good for everyone. Is Concord NH good?? There's a Ford Dealer right off 93 (Grappone Ford) that you can't miss. Then we can head north from there. I know that some people, from the summer get together at Heberts, are from mass. Please feel free to make suggestions. I'm open to anything, just as long as all the Contiques are together! Oh and by the way, does the end of October sound good?? What day of the week??
