As per Baco's request, I have begun initial
legwork into potentially scheduling a "dyno
day" at Boston Performance Group, located

The price would be $850/day with a max of
10 cars (1000-1700 hrs). The normal price is $130/hr with three runs. You get a $20 discount upon returning for a second dyno go-round. If we can get 10 Contours involved, we're in like Flynn. I'm looking for a day maybe in the fall...giving us plenty of time for scheduling. It should be interesting since they are primarily a Porsche/BMW/Audi/VW tuner and might find 210-230HP four-door Fords pretty rare (assuming I can finish my
modification schedule...I hope to be up to 225-230 flywheel hp by then). Regardless, it would be a blast to compare our cars right on the spot!

Current performance #'s (taken in temps between 25-45F)
222hp (181 GTech based hp; translates to flywheel rating of 222)
0-60 6.32 (best of 6.17)
1/4m 14.62 (best of 14.32)
40-60 (3rd gear) 3.7 secs avg
50-70 (4th gear) 5.4 secs avg
40-100 (4th gear) 16.4 secs avg
Top Speed (156mph w/o wing...recorded by police radar). Now probably
5-7mph less with Konig V-Racing spoiler, though handling at 100mph+
speeds has been vastly improved.

Hey VTMaxx it sounds great to me as I have been wanting to do it since I bought my car. Now with a few mods I cant wait to see what I really have. Just post a date a week or so ahead and I will be there in a second, mon tues are great for me too. Thanks for doing the legwork, BOS SVT

would it make any sense to do this maybe in november sometime or late october? i know it's late in the fall to be doing this, but my september/october months are quite full (moving to new apartment in sept and getting married in october). just a request.

i'm excited to see what the possibilities are with my Zetec. stock should produce about 100 HP at the wheel, right? well..i'll have a Superchip, UDP, and KKM for perfmornace mods by that time, so we'll see how all that adds up on my little fo' cylinder. any of you guys think i'll see 110+ HP or is that unrealistic?

lastly, are these guys open on weekends?
