Ralph,

You've heard my SE.
Its got the SVT Exhaust without the Res.
It is a little loud inside, but that depends on how you drive it.
If you don't drive at WOT all the time, then it is bearable.
The only one who doesn't like it is the Mrs.,
but she doesn't like driving the car either...

I chopped mine out before xmas. It's not THAT loud, but it is noticeably louder than the stock exhaust. The only time the car set off car alarms is when I started it up with nothing from the cat back and revved the hell out of it. 2 problems, When it's cold..it's a little raspy, and, it always sounds tinny under hard acceleration. for me it's an interim thing until I can get a real exhaust on there.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. Cartman, I like the idea you had of putting the high-flow res on there. I actually had a customer show up today at work with a Tour, no res, some guy from Texas. He let me take his tour for a spin, I didn't like the way it sounded on the inside. I'll let you know if I decide to do the exhaust, we might be able to do the swap like you said. I let you know.

For now, the KKM will be going in soon. I figure I might as well get it into the car before the Spring, when the Mean Green Machine goes back on the street to terrorize all the Civic SI I spot.

hehe,
Dave
