I'm going to be the first one to warn you, that running w/o a resonator in an SVT is LOUD. Cabin drone will drive you crazy, it's just a matter of how long you can deal with it until you give in and put it back.

A nice compromise I found was getting a high-flow resonator. It's 2 1/4" in diameter (same as the rest of the exhaust), while the SVT resonator is 2", and is the main restrictor. It flows real good, and coupled with a KKM, gave me a 14hp gain over stock, on a DynoJet.

If you saw my post further down in the forum, I'm looking to bring my car back to stock (to sell), so if you'd be interested in swapping exhausts for say $30, I'd be interested.. I actually had the work done at Meineke.. They'll charge you $60 for the resonator, and then labor to install it. If you decide just to run a straight pipe in lieu of the resonator (don't say I didn't warn you), it should run $20-30, depending on the shop you go to. Any more than that, and you're getting ripped off.

Good luck, and let me know if you're interested in my offer.
